Newborn Sessions: Newborn sessions are best done up to three weeks after birth. Sessions take between 90mins – 3 hours depending on the package chosen and how baby is feeling on the day. All props, outfits and accessories are provided.
Maternity Sessions: Maternity sessions are best done between 32-36 weeks before your little baby prepares itself for birth and moves down into your pelvis. Maternity sessions take place in the studio and take around 1 hour to complete. I have a small amount of designer Maternity dresses to choose from. Siblings are welcome at no extra charge.
Sitter Sessions: Sitter sessions are best done when baby is sitting comfortably but not yet crawling, usually between 6 and 9 months of age. All outfits and props are provided. Siblings and family are excluded from these sessions.
Cake Smash Sessions: Cake smash sessions are done when baby is 11 months of age. These sessions are done in the studio and are all inclusive, all decorations, helium balloons, cake, outfits are provided. Colour choices are discussed at time of booking. Before portraits and bubbly bath are included. Sibling and family photo’s are excluded from these sessions.

Here are some common questions we receive from new and expecting Mums and Dads

When will my gallery & products be ready?: Your gallery will be ready to view and download with 3 weeks of your session. If you order prints and products, they will arrive 2-3 weeks after the order date.
What if I don’t know my exact due date?: I schedule you in using your due date and adjust the booking as you reach and even pass the due date. Then you simply let me know as soon as you can when baby has arrived and we set the actual date for your session.
Can I receive unedited or RAW images?: The editing I do with your images is part of my artistic style and therefore I will be unable to supply any unedited files, as is the case with all respected professional photographers.
What are digital art composite images?: Digit art images are when baby is photographed separately in a specific way and edited into a digital backdrop. There is a huge variety of digital backdrops to choose from and you will be sent a link to choose these prior to your newborn session. They are a beautiful way to add variety to your gallery with minimal disturbance to your sleepy baby.
How do I redeem my print credit?: Print credit can be redeemed on the online print shop for prints, Canvas's Chromaluxe aluminium prints, albums, framed prints and display box’s. All session types have access to the online shop and you will receive a code emailed to you when your images are edited and ready for download.
Do you have liability insurance?: Yes, I am fully insured for public liability through AAMI Business insurance.
When is the balance of my session due and how do I pay you?: The balance is due on the day of your session. You will receive an invoice and payment can be made by credit card, PayPal or bank transfer.
What days & times are you available?: Newborn sessions are held Mon-Fri at 930am. Cake smash sessions are done morning or afternoon. Limited Saturday sessions are available.
How long does the session take?: Newborn sessions range from one to three hours depending on the package chosen and how your baby is feeling on the day. I allow plenty of time for settling, feeding, cleaning up any little accidents ( it happens!) and cuddling. Maternity sessions take around 60 mins, sitter sessions 30-45 mins and cake smash sessions 60 mins.
Do you supply outfits?: I have an ever growing range of beautiful handmade newborn outfits, sitter outfits and cake smash outfits for you to use for your session. I also have a small range of outfits for Mum to use at your newborn session.
How old should my baby be for the adorable squishy photo’s?: The best time to photograph newborns is between 4-21 days after birth when they are still all sleepy, squishy and curly.
